Connections
You can get directly to the heart of the event area by train, as Kotka port train station is located in Kantasatama (City port). There is a rail link from Kouvola to Kotka six times a day. Timetables can be found on VR’s website.
The main train stations:
Kotka port is the station closest to central Kotka and in the middle of the event area.
Kotka railway station (Kotkantie 1) is only a couple hundred metres away from the event area.
There is a direct bus service on a daily basis from Helsinki, Tampere, Lahti and Jyväskylä, as well as other major cities. It is a 10-minute-walk down to the harbour from the bus station at Katariina’s Square. You can find long-haul coach service timetables from Matkahuolto‘s and Onnibussi‘s websites.
Matkahuolto’s depot is located in Karhula (Kotka) at Matkakuja 2.
It is about an hour by car from Helsinki-Vantaa airport to Kotka. There is also a daily bus service between the airport and Kotka. Please check the timetables from Matkahuolto website.
The event area is closed to traffic but the entrance gates can be reached with taxis.
Cars and parking areas
Please note that private vehicles are not allowed in the event area. However, the parking is nearby. You can find the nearest parking areas from the festival site map and of course also from the Kotkansaari map.
By boat
You can also come to Kotka by your own boat. There are marked places (venesatamat) for guests arriving by boat on this map.

Information centers
Information Centers can be found in the vicinity of the entrance gates, as well as in the Maritime Centre Vellamo.
