Are you 15 to 25-year-old and interested in trying out life on a real tall ship? Previous experience is not needed, and you will learn the basics of sailing and seafaring through practice during the week-long sailing. You’ll learn how to trim the sails, steer the ship, while having access to previously unknown ports.
The Tall Ships Races is also one of Finland’s largest public events of Finland’s 100th anniversary year. In order to celebrate Finland, the cities of Kotka and Turku offer 100 young people the opportunity to be trained in sailing.
